When we talk about Chinese New Year, some of us think Chinatown and lion dances, some of us think a long journey back home to spend time with family and friends, some of us think fireworks! And do you know why the Chinese don’t use conventional fireworks that are beautiful and less noisy? You know, fireworks that you shoot straight up to the sky and explodes into a frenzy of bright colours? For those in the dark, the Chinese don’t use fireworks but instead, they use…FIRECRACKERS!!
But what for? Why use these noisy little suckers that produces nothing but loud noises and bland white sparks? Because they’re loud.
To commemorate the Lunar New Year, I made this little playlist with nothing but songs that are loud. Just plain loud. Why? Cause they’re loud. No point, just loud.
